Summary

This case series explores the use of HydroClean® HydroResponsive Wound Dressings (HRWD) in managing complex lower leg wounds in elderly patients. Each case presented unique challenges including pain, infection, and impaired healing. HydroClean® was integrated into person centred care plans, resulting in rapid pain relief, improved wound bed condition, and enhanced quality of life. Clinicians reported ease of use and consistent therapeutic benefit, with one wound achieving full closure within a month. These findings support HydroClean® as a valuable tool in addressing both clinical and patient-centred outcomes in wound care.
