Introduction

EXUDATE MANAGEMENT WEBINAR RECAP
We hosted our Exudate Management Webinar, designed to help healthcare professionals deepen their knowledge of wound care and enhance patient outcomes.

During the session, attendees gained:

  • A clear overview of the role of exudate in the wound healing process

  • An understanding of the causes and types of exudate, including what they can reveal about a wound’s condition

  • Practical strategies and best practices for managing exudate in a clinical setting, ensuring optimal healing and patient comfort

The interactive webinar was led by Naomi Morgan, Clinical Partnership Manager at HARTMANN. Naomi shared insights from her 20+ years in nursing, including experience in Community Nursing, Nutritional Nursing, Ostomy care, and a special focus on surgical wound care in Obstetrics and General Surgery. She highlighted her passion for education, reflecting her motto: “Every day is a school day”, and demonstrated how this philosophy has shaped her nursing and clinical partnership roles. Naomi joined Hartmann in 2024 and shared how her current role allows her to apply her wound care knowledge and educational experience.

Whether participants were nurses, healthcare assistants, or clinicians involved in wound care, the session helped them build confidence and stay up to date with the latest guidance on exudate management.
