The JWC awards are a way to celebrate the excellence and achievements of the most exceptional individuals and organisations in the wound care industry. HARTMANN are very proud to be supporting such a prestigious award in 2024.

The JWC Awards this year will take place at Imperial War Museum in London on Friday 23rd of February 2024.

Nominations were made in 2023 and was open to individuals, teams, organisations, societies, companies, charities, and government organisations whose work has made a huge impact based on work carried out over the last year.

HARTMANN sponsored category is “Innovative Dressing Technology” - this Award will celebrate dressing technologies designed to restore and maintain wound balance by shifting elevated biomarkers towards a balanced microclimate, resembling acute healing.

We are pleased to announce that the shortlisted individuals for this category are:

  • Tabatha Rando, Advanced Nurse Consultant - Plastics/Wound Management, Royal Adelaide Hospital
  • Laura Swoboda, Professor of Health Sciences, Family Nurse Practitioner, Medical College of Wisconsin and Waukesha County Technical College
  • Hans Smola, Medical Doctor, Professor of Dermatology, Department of Dermatology at the University of Cologne in Germany
