Summary

This live webinar will focus on selecting the right pairs of dressings that include superabsorbent polymer (SAP) dressings used as a primary or secondary dressing in wound clinics and physician and other qualified healthcare professional (QHP) offices. Dr. Alison Garten will present clinical examples to demonstrate the decision-making process necessary for appropriate dressing selections that may improve wound/ulcer management.

Kathleen Schaum will discuss the importance of medical record documentation and thorough written order 1) to ensure that patients receive the correct dressing pairs and 2) to allow supplier to code accurately and receive correct payment. Dr. Garten and Ms. Schaum will conclude by reviewing clinical cases with the appropriate orders, documentation, and coding.
