Introduction

The 2nd LINK for Wound Healing Congress, powered by Wounds International and PAUL HARTMANN AG, took place on the 11th of September 2019 in Budapest.

LINK, powered by HARTMANN, stands for Learn, Inform, Network and Knowledge and is a community and networking platform for professionals in the fields of advanced wound care and negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT).

The CPD certified LINK Congress is a valuable opportunity for wound experts from around the world to exchange insights about important wound topics and discuss clinical success with respected peers from across the globe.

LINK Congress 2019 focused especially on wound exudate management and epithelialization, consisting of oral presentations, poster session and hosting of an expert panel on negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT) led by Prof. Franck Duteille (Nantes, FR), with a focus on plastic and reconstructive surgery).

The congress was attended by 300 international wound experts from 25 countries. Participants shared their clinical experiences and best practices with colleagues around the world, as well as learning about recent developments in the field. They also enjoyed presentations from internationally renowned experts.
